Western Railroad Discussion > A Better Day With Less Smoke On The BNSFDate: 08/04/15 16:43 A Better Day With Less Smoke On The BNSF Author: Ritzville Today was a clearer day in Ritzville, WA on the BNSF Lakeside Sub with less smoke after a cold front blew thru area and cleared out the smoke. It was 88-60 for a high-low today. Traffic was none between 830am and 1156am in the morning with some early afternoon trains here and there. Here are some of the trains from yesterday afternoon-evening and today.
1. WB 429pm oil train with BNSF 8050-4486 on the point with DPU. 2. EB 448pm stack train with BNSF 5360-8228 on the pull. 3. WB 509pm grain train with BNSF 6393-5153 on the point with DPU. WB 604pm TOFC train with BNSF 7206-1094 on the pull of a fairly short train and a friendly toot-toot from the hogger.
