Drone Foaming CP Walker Cajon Pass
Author: gjc

East bound BNSF stack train at CP Walker.  Video shot around 4:40pm on 8/9/15, Sunday.  Caught west bound Amtrak way off in the distance on Main 3.
The drone is a DJI Phantom 2 with a H3-3D gimbal stabilizer and a GoPro Hero 3+.

Agree, nice video, George, thanks for posting.

A question and a comment.  Did he stall or get a red at CP Walker?  Seems like a lot of train
to stop on the hill.  The area to the left of the shots is the area BNSF had filled in during the
third track construction.  You can't tell what they did!  I maintain this was a truly remarkable
effort by BNSF and Ames Construction.  If you didn't know, you couldn't tell that extra track
hadn't been there for years.

Cool video.  I sure like the aerial shots.  That Amtrak #3 is running really late though.   It runs through Cajon about 6-7in the morning normally.

How fun! Refining the "Art of Drone Foaming."

Nice soundtrack when you start to "scout the train" with your drone. The landing clip at the end is a great bonus.
