A Rather Light Day In The Haze In The Upper Columbia Basin-1111
Author: Ritzville

It was another white sky day with smoke haze and Hot in Ritzville, WA on the BNSF Lakeside Sub with a high-low of 92-60. Traffic was rather light today so far with the after 4pm flood gates about to open. I missed two trains today, one I made it to Bauman Rd. to take a photo and forgot the camera in the house, missed a Warbonnet and had a friendly wave from the hogger. Just had the NS barcode(1111) go by at 407pm. Here are some of the trains that rolled by the backyard and beyond yesterday evening and today as of this afternoon.

1. EB 553pm grain train with BNSF 7173-7661-5365 on the point with a friendly toot-toot from the hogger.
2. WB 657pm manifest train with BNSF 5098-7133 on the pull with a friendly toot from the hogger.
3. EB 1103pm manifest train with BNSF 6061-4112, CP 9547 and BNSF 7052 on the point.
