As a young boy (many years ago) I lived about a mile from the old Budd Company Red Lion plant that built those great cars and would often walk a short distance to where they would park them on the "ready" track for shipment to customers. I could walk right up to them and place my hand on them. What an experience.

Vancouver through Squamish. Wow, what a cool ride. And they did indeed run a motorcar a few minutes ahead to look out for rockslides in the spectacular canyon. So I'm very happy that a few of these venerable Cadillacs (solidly built) are alive and kicking.
