As always, excellent choice of locations and compositions.  A railroad can never be overdone when there are infinitely many angles to discover.

Have been to Tehachapi many times but the last shot confuses me as to the location. Especially with the freight cars on the ground in the foreground? Help?

In the bottom view, a westbound (northbound) train is rounding the horseshoe at Caliente. It negotiated the track in the foreground a couple minutes earlier.

Great shots, Ryan. I like 1 and 3, those are some neat perspectives. I don't know if I could make it up those hills at my age. Thanks for treating us to some great photography.
