20 years after the merger, there are still some "old school" paint jobs floating around  at Vancouver, Washington yesterday 9/1/15..

Throwback Tuesday at Vancouver part 2

3,, 4. & 5.  Switch Job with 2 SD40-2 units at Apple Tree, new control point just east of the old 8th Street control point.  Train is on the new track that passes under the Mainline and Columbia Draw.

Things have changed a lot at Vancouver during the years I was in Fort Worth.

Damn Randy, I must of missed you as I was there when #501 rolled in from Seattle.
I had a NB grainer go by, and a SB stacker repo, then had to leave for an appt.
Next time you see a silver Honda Element, that will probably be me, so walk over
and say hi to this old geezer!

Everyday is Throwback day on the BNSF. They just don't believe in painting units.
