Western Railroad Discussion > Another Day On The Railroad with Variety On The BNSFDate: 09/02/15 15:31 Another Day On The Railroad with Variety On The BNSF Author: Ritzville It was a nice cool windy day in Ritzville, WA on the BNSF Lakeside Sub with a high-low of 72-50. Traffic was busy before I got up this morning and then thinned out a bit. Today with the heavy breeze, dust was flying at times in certain areas. Here are some of the trains that rolled by yesterday afternoon-evening and today so far.
1. EB 503pm manifest train with BNSF 8973-5673 and older 140 on the point with a friendly toot-toot from the hogger. 2. Another shot of BNSF 140. 3. WB 653pm oil train with BNSF 7242 and Warbonnet 701 on the pull with a friendly wave from the hogger. 5. EB 708pm coal train with CREX 1214 on the very point with DPU. 6. EB 918am manifest train with BNSF 5162, Warbonnet 4717 and BNSF 4140 on the pull. 14. Same train at Bauman Rd with lots of dust flying. Had to snap and run or would have been covered with dust, lol. 15. Not seen was the BNSF L NWE830 meeting the e/b oil train with the #6345 leading the now dead #5522..
