This weekend is the Central Coast Railroad Festival in San Luis Obispo with events throughout San Luis Obispo County and Northern Santa Barbara County.  What is unique about the railroad festival is that it is sponsored by three railroads, Amtrak, Santa Maria Valley Railroad, and Union Pacific Railroad. 

Tomorrow morning at 10:30 Chief Operating Officer of the Santa Maria Valley Railroad Jamie Foster will be doing a presentation on the Santa Maria Valley Railroad.  Followed by Director of Public Affairs for Union Pacific Railroad, Liisa Stark will be speaking about Union Pacific Railroad.  Last night Amtrak Station Host David Weisman did a very interesting and informative presentation on Amtrak at the San Luis Obispo Library.  Santa Maria Valley Railroad and Amtrak will have information tables at the museum tomorrow.  Doors open at 10:00.  If you are in the area come in check it out.
