Not Amtrak!

A far cry from the days of matched consists and even removed from Amtrak we find the La Veta
Pass version of Rio Grande Scenic's passenger fleet. The highly reworked GP40s have even found
their way onto freight with one working the Monte Vista Turn this morning. Love Ed's consists,
never a dull moment!

Where is the steam power? Down the road on the C&TS, Rio Grande Scenic hasn't had steam
in a number of years.

The SLRG is looking more and more like the Hoosier Service instead of a Scenic Railroad, though that is a cool consist. I miss the Steam in the Valley.
