Maybe to Boise for PTS equipment like those moving from the west?

I was going to say that must be from MPI in Boise. Did not realize they were repainting them. So that will be the end of the Warbonnet GP60M's whose paint has held up fairly well. Units going to MPI are being interchanged in Spokane, WA.

I don't believe they are repainting them at MPI when PTC is installed.  #130 was repainted into the H3 scheme back in late 2005 or early 2006.  #120 just came back with PTC antennas still in it's original ATSF warbonnet scheme...  Rich (PasadenaSub) just posted a picture of it at Asuza a few days ago.

This unit came FROM Boise.  I saw it on an eastbound MHKNP last week in Wyoming.

Thanks for the information, that's a pretty rare unit for these parts.

Looks lonely sitting by itself. Use to be one of the great racehorses of the "Z" train in Warbonnet times. Nice pic though.

The trains got too heavy for them. Stack trains weigh a lot more then piggy back trains do.

That second shot with the water really tells the story.

Yep, the 130 has been in that scheme since at least 2008, and this is the earliest shot I have of it  in H3 on the Pasadena Local here in Glendora, CA on 1/8/10.

130 was picked up by the BNSF local mid-day October 5. Probably in Sterling or Denver, CO by now.
