A shame your camera/camera-phone could only provide less than a minute of video in each instance. Othewrwise, good video and sound quality. A question.  Was the BNSF hauling brand new tank cars? There were no placards visible, and which direction was he heading?

It was headed EB around 11 am and the tank cars looked pretty new and this movement had no buffer cars!   Thought that was strange!

This train went south through Bend Oregon on the 12th at 9:47 am.

It only had the 7965 and the KCS unit for power when it went down the Oregon Trunk.

I could not see the build dates while it passed by here in Bend. Was moving about 25 mph and headed for cascan to tie down.

Looking at the video and stopping it a couple of times it looks like the build date is 10 / 2015.

If you look at the design of the tank cars .. these cars are not equipped with bottom drop valves.  Which means these cars will be used for transporation of LPG or some other presssurized gas comodity.

The springs don't look to be compressed on the truck sideframes, so I'd say the tank cars are empty.

We also noticed that many of the SSW flat cars on the 2nd video were built in 1975.  The bulk heads appear to be lower than on most cars we have seen in the past.
Are they designed for MOW equipment or to carry things with tires or maybe wheel sets?  Or was standard height for those cards in the 1970's before the bulk end got taller.
There are about 4 of them SSW and 1 of them is a MP in the cut all together.  Seems like they all might be going to the same distination!

If these obviously new cars hadn't yet been loaded, they were safe to run without buffer cars.
