Western Railroad Discussion > MoPac Heritage Plus OneDate: 11/22/15 22:05 MoPac Heritage Plus One Author: wesleygreer A couple weeks ago I recieved a tip that UP 1982 was leading an empty ethanol train on UP's Falls City Sub. Fortunately the train ran after classes were over, so I made a trip down the the tracks to get it. Equally fortunate, the train was forced to stop short of 4th St. in Atchison while some MoW cleared up, which allowed me some additional angles with the train and its sweet leader.
Bonus shot is of UP 7021 leading a manifest I exposed a few hours ago at the same place as #1. The town of Atchison lit up the Amelia Earhart Memorial Bridge in patriotic colors this evening, something they plan to do through Thanksgiving. I can remember a few trips running down through there with 3985 and 844.
