Good News for the Moffat Road?
Author: jc76

Bowie today purchased Twenty Mile Mine (Energy) from Peabody. There are lots of articles online today about the purchase. If the transaction is completed this could mean more aggressive marketing by the smaller company.... Hopefully a increase in trains... We'll cross our fingers.....

Here is a little more info.  Hopefully you're right about a smaller company doing more aggressive marketing.  However just poking around the internet for more info it seems there are a bunch of articles that don't look too favorably towards the future of Colorado coal production.

The mine package sold at the low range of estimates, which suggests the informed buyers weren't filled with confidence. And that the sellers knew they wouldn't get much more for the mines.

Why rely on facts when distortions pump up your base?
