Western Railroad Discussion > Good News for the Moffat Road?Date: 11/23/15 14:38 Good News for the Moffat Road? Author: jc76 Bowie today purchased Twenty Mile Mine (Energy) from Peabody. There are lots of articles online today about the purchase. If the transaction is completed this could mean more aggressive marketing by the smaller company.... Hopefully a increase in trains... We'll cross our fingers.....

However just poking around the internet for more info it seems there are a bunch of articles that don't look too favorably towards the future of Colorado coal production.
