A "B-C" Non Powered High Hood Blind Non-Locomotive"
Author: YukonYeti

I crawled out of the cave to check on the first re-powered White Pass units and this rather unique creature jumped in front of the camera..

So what do we call this a "neutered GP/SD45" former N&W unit?  I especially like the high handrails.

With no headlights, it has to be blind as well and is therefore tax deductible.

(Yes, it was a prime mover test-bed which I believe is now scrapped.)

OK, Back to the cave...

Have a Happy Thanksgiving, one and all...

It's a Tier V unit..zero emissions, zero pollution, zero horsepower..but it is EPA compliant.

(It is a primemover test platform..)

Other than painting, it's almost finished. Just waiting for the nuclear reactor power plant propulsion unit to be dropped in.

The middle section of the hood snaps on. It has a sign on both sides Insert 53,000 D batteries here.

That explains the lack of headlights.  What good will they do when you outrun the beam of light.

If a locomotive is an "iron horse", is this an "iron gelding"?

This is what happens when there is a breakdown in communications between the Design and Production departments.
