A Nice Spring Day In Winter On The BNSF
Author: Ritzville

It was a beautiful sunny day in Ritzville, WA on the BNSF Lakeside Sub with a high-low of 53-32. Traffic was a bit lighter than yesterday and mostly Orange. Here are some of the catches of the day. I was helping my neighbor on a project and was difficult to hit the sunny side today.

1. WB 1017am rail work train with BNSF 6714 and Crex 1203 on the point.
2. Another shot of same power.
3. WB 1125am manifest work train with BNSF 7274-8793-5420 on the pull.

Nice set today.  Really cool looking down the hill at Division St---could get a shot like that in Marysville KS back in the day.  Seems like those yellow cars in the pass have been there for over a week now??

Sorry to see you're to get hit with cold and snow. The farmers here would like some more snow and cooler weather. Stay warm!

Here is that trian I caught pulling into Lamphire. Really didn't find a good angle on the sunny side of the track for a photo of the "Tophat" C40-9 that was trailing in the consist.

Thanks everyone! Glad you caught that train in sunlight Ted, would have been dark in Ritzville. Brian, those yellow lumber cars were in Lind, WA in storage, now they have moved them to Ritzville for how long who knows, lol.
