A Busy Day On The BNSF
Author: Ritzville

It was a partly cloudy to cloudy day with a few sprinkles in Ritzville, WA on the BNSF Lakeside Sub with a high-low 77-58. Traffic was steady all day with a slight lull after the 305pm manifest. Here are some of the trains that passed by the backyard and beyond and a couple from yesterday. Mostly an Orange Crush type of day.

5/3/2016

1. WB 542pm manifest train with BNSF 6804-9386-8762 on the point.
2. A Cat on the prowl in same train.
3. WB 553pm coal train with BNSF 5867-9345 on the pull with DPU's.

Unloaded many pieces of Cat equipment, like the dozer in the second photo,
at the old Miramar dock in San Diego, when I worked for the local Cat dealer.
Hawthorne Machinery!

Quite a variety of trains: coal, grain, autoracks, stacks and manifests. Interesting the differing container heights in #7 and 8. All good stuff. Thanks.
