Western Railroad Discussion > Grinding through GrafDate: 05/23/16 18:34 Grinding through Graf Author: pyroman Last Wednesday night I heard the unique horn of a Loram rail grinder approaching La Crosse so bit of debate for a midnight outing (ok so it was only 23:30) I figured what the heck and jumped in my truck for a quick night chase. Being he was not moving too fast I managed a video as he approached Graf a short distance from home. I wanted a shot of him going through Graf but the camera focus got cranky and would not focus lock for a bit. Finally I got a long pass at Cass Street, not bad for a quick grab “chase”. For those interested this is my regular Canon 70D (Canon HV30 had a dead battery) being handheld. Hopefully I can get around to shooting and editing more videos later this year including the vast archive of the CP Holiday Train from WI and MN.
