Western Railroad Discussion > BNSF Three Diamonds at Carrollton, TX

On Sunday May 22 I was exploring the area north of Dallas, and went to the triple-diamond in Carrollton to get pictures in the last light before sundown.  Right after I got there, a southbound BNSF freight came by, on ex-Frisco rails.  The first picture shows it crossing the ex-Katy diamond; the other diamond it is approaching is ex-Cotton Belt.  The Katy is now Dallas Garland & Northeastern around here; the Cotton Belt is now Ft Worth & Western.

The second picture shows an out-of-service DART Green Line train passing over the freight; south is to the right.

The third picture shows a CSS (Chicago South Shore & South Bend) flatcar carrying steel.
