Author: DonWinslow

Ya never know what the weather might be when ya get in the Pass.
1. Clear when climbing the Pass at Hill 582 (on the left frame of photo).
2. Sunup at Cajon Station.
3. Climing through rain at Swarthout Canyon in the lower Pass..

No, but I have been in the pass many times and had this type of weather all on the same day.

The Orange looks very flat and fuzzy round the edges just saying.

Typical Inversion layer today was grey all the way to at least Verdamont this morning but clear completely by Blue cut around 10am . May grey and June gloom in So Cal.

Nice shots! We can almost do the weather changes in a day here in Colorado... Just thinking out loud. :-)

Nice shots all around Don! What a change from bright sun to rain.

I seriously disagree to  the "over saturating." All the colors in #2 make for a great picture.

Not intending to fan any flames here, but I must agree that I fail to see evidence of excessive color saturation in the three images above. There appears to be significant shadow correction in the second pic, ala HDR(esque) results, though not noticeably detracting from the overall scene. Other than that, the pictures (viewed on my iPhone at the moment) look very nice. Thanks for sharing Don!
