Some days it gets pretty routine around La Crosse WI, case in point with the CP 813, UP's coal train to the Columbia Power Station near Portage WI, comes rumbling into La Crosse behind the UP 6795. Now the BNSF is activating some of the H1 Dash Nines such as the BNSF 1102 leading the H NTWGAL on a cloudy Thursday afternoon.

Sunday afternoon I had the chance to get out and photograph a few trains such as the CSXT 385 in her fairly fresh CSXT dress up on the north end of Brice Prairie with a Bakken bound oil train. Back in La Crosse, the H NTWGAL rolls past my house with the BNSF 7793 leading the charge.

Next up was the Z PTLCHC, BNSF 6628 making some serious tracks towards Chicago, this was followed by the BNSF 9289, a Galesburg bound oil load.

Here is one more look at the burly BNSF 9289 leading the Bakken oil loads. Last but certainly not the least was the BNSF V BLULAU running as the CSXT 8662 - 8840. It sure was sweet to see and hear a nice pair of EMDs pound by to end my Sunday! Have a GREAT week!

Friday night saw a V-PTLLPC with a trio of CSXT power heading into Spokane. Wonder how long that takes to get to your neck of the woods?

Great bunch. Nice to see the Goat Boats back out and great catch on the CSX standard cabs.

Another NICE series with lots of variety. Like the oil trains and the H1 BNSF 1102 on the point.
