Start Of a Hot Week In The Upper Columbia Basin On The BNSF

It became a HOT day in Ritzville, WA on the BNSF Lakeside Sub with a high-low of 91-58, with warmer days on the way, UGH! Today was steady after the morning work window. Here are some the consists from today and a few from yesterday. Grain was certainly the main stay of the afternoon trains.
6/26/16

1. A quick shot of EB 422pm manifest with an a 7 unit Orange crush on the point with one CREX unit, With so much power couldn't take my original shot, had to take a quick going way shot.
2. WB 452pm manifest with BNSF 4098-4544 on the point with DPU and a friendly toot-tot from the hogger.
3. WB 701pm "Z" with BNSF 7980 on the very point. Thanks Ted!

4. Another shot of Warbonnet 776 on same "Z". Nice to see the Warbonnets making a return.

5. WB 532am #27 Empire Builder with 41 on the point. Just happened to be awake for a moment, heard the approaching whistle and caught a quick shot out the back door, lol. Thanks to TO member bmarti7 for the heads up of train running late.
6. EB 1054am manifest with BNSF 6818 on the very point with DPU's.

7. DPU's fading away by the old NP Ritzville Depot.
8. EB 1117am grain with BNSF 3823 on the very point at Bauman Rd., Ritzville with a friendly toot-toot and wave from the crew.
9. BNSF 480539 FRISCO Heritage Hopper in same train.

10. The End of same train fading away towards CP W. Tokio.
11. EB 1130am oil with BNSF 5176-5197 on the pull with DPU.
12. DPU BNSF 5141 fading away by old Ritzville Depot.

13. WB 116pm grain with BNSF 6595 on the very point with DPU at Bauman Rd and friendly waves from the crew.
14. BNSF 488312 Colorado and Southern Heritage Hopper with graffiti on it's return trip.
15. DPU BNSF 8331 fading away towards downtown Ritzville.

16. EB 241pm manifest with BNSF5828 on the very point at Bauman Rd. with a friendly toot-toot from the hogger.
17. WB 310pm grain with BNSF 8026-4375 on the pull with DPU's and a friendly wave from the hogger.
18. WB 323pm grain with BNSF 3853-5252 on the point with DPU's and a friendly toot-toot from the hogger.

19. WB 334pm grain with BNSF 7315-8047 on the pull with DPU's and a friendly toot-toot from the hogger.
20. WB 351pm grain with BNSF 6505, NS 7008 and BNSF 8160 on the point with DPU.
21. Another shot of NS 7008 on same train.
