It was a hot day in Ritzville. WA on the BNSF Lakeside Sub with a high-low of 94-60. Due to many activities am posting trains from the last three days, Traffic has been very Orange and quite light today with a couple of MoW Hi-Railers rolling up and down the line. Traffic will probablty pick up this evening and thru the night. Heat wave is on for the rest of the week, which might curtail prolific picture taking, lol.

1. EB 525pm manifest train with BNSF 5035-7846-7533 and NS 9434 on the point.

3. EB 956am grain train with BNSF 3812-8074 on the pull with DPU.

5. EB 1032m grain train with BNSF 6307-7739 on the point with DPU.
6. DPU BNSF 6699 fading away on same train.

7. EB 1052am grain train with Big Blue GECX 2025 and BNSF 5517 on the pull with DPU.

10. EB 112pm "Z" train with BNSF 6517 on the very point with a friendly waves from the crew. Picture taken from cement platform on Team Track.
11. WB 130pm grain train with BNSF 4432 on the very point.
12. The End of same train fading away for the downward slide towards Signal 661.

13. WB 220pm manifest train with BNSF 7371-H1 1053 on the pull. Sorry, had twitchy finger syndrom and cut the front of train.
14. WB 432pm grain train with BNSF 7477-4992-6773 on the pull with DPU.
15. Finally a non-orange unit with Warbonnet 790 in the head-end mix of EB 510pm manifest train.


Sorry, all GE Orange today sofar for the few trains that rolled by. This may be it for today. Hope everyone has a great evening and tomorrow! Thanks so much for looking and stay cool!

Nice photos from all angles as the sun moves around Larry.  Seems like you havn't had the Blue units in a while.  I sure do still enjoy seeing the H1 paint moreso than the other phases.
