A HOT Tuesday On The BNSF
Author: Ritzville

It was another HOT and humid one in Ritzville, WA on the BNSF Lakeside Sub with a high-low 94-62. The weather was hot enough that the speed of trains was slowed to it looked like 30mph. It was a GE Orange day sofar. Traffic was so-so today with lulls in traffic. Maybe work windows. Here are some trains from yesterday and today.

1. Spiffy looking ex-warbonnet BNSF 617 in her new colors on EB 452pm manifest train.
2. EB 510pm manifest train with BNSF 6960-7677 and Warbonnet 790 on the point.
3. Another shot of Warbonnet 790. Posted picture yesterday, but needed something other than Orange, lol.

Nice ones Larry.

At night, do you get just as many trains?

Larry,

Thanks as always for the photos! It was 104 here in Salt Lake City yesterday and 103 to 104 is expected here today. Stay cool and watch for snakes when you are out along the line...

Best wishes,

ShastaDaylight

Thanks everyone! We actually get more trains at night than during the day. Very busy all night long.
