EMDX 1603 & 1604 at Denver, CO, July 27

EMDX new Tier 4; BNSF Brush Subdivision.  EMDX 1604, SD70ACeT4P4, Tier 4, and EMDX 1603, with leader BNSF 1114 were going to the Transportation Technology Center east of Pueblo, CO.  Units laid over at BNSF's Denver Diesel Shop, Denver, CO, July 27, 2016.

Got my date mixed up, was Wednesday, July 27th.

Units were gone later that evening enroute to Pueblo, CO.

1630 and they still sit. Really nice light on them now. Need a 300mm to get close though.

Saw 1502 this morning westbound just north of Bakersfield, it was the fourth motor on a manifest didn't get the lead number

This photo has to be the 27th. They were still in Nebraska at 19:00 the 26th

The EMD test car was going toward Denver the day 844 made the test run, 844 met the southbound at Nunn on the return trip, and the test car was buried in-train, photo was here on TO. I wonder if that move was related to this move? === === = === JLH

These locomotives wear the BNSF colors well. Let's see how they perform.
