PCC operations around Walla Walla
Author: railsmith

I haven't visited the PCC operations based at Walla Walla since 2007, but would like to make a trip there in September. Is there a predictable operating pattern with trains on regular days/times? And what about operations out of Hooper Junction to Colfax and Thornton?

Thanks in advance.

Been to Walla Walla 3 times my friends mom lived there. I'm sorry I missed that. Luckily I'm not too far from SF.

I am guessing he means the Palouse River & Coulee City Railroad, not PCC trolley's.

That's indeed what I am referring to.

To Southern Californians, "PCC" can mean 1) the streamlined streetcars from the 30s and 40s, either at Orange Empire or up in San Francisco. 2) Pasadena City College, or (a distant 3) a short line in the SE corner of Washington State.  My first impression was that there were some retired streetcars I hadn't heard about in Walla Walla, like the Tahoe Valley Line PCCs in the pines along US 50 on the east side of California.

Do you think someone might actually answer as to what the heck is going on in Walla Walla? I remember
going through there years ago when it was pretty busy, and raining.
