BN Green on the Santa Fe
Author: nwkrailfan

BN on the Santa Fe, human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together – mass hysteria! Alright, so maybe not that bad...but, last week I was able to frame a pair of decent looking cascade green Geeps on a BNSF local on the old Santa Fe mainline around Hutchinson, Kansas.

1) BNSF 2806 highballs eastbound towards Hutchinson in an area that on the parallel UP is the east end of Whiteside siding, the tank cars are coming from one of the two natural gas and LPG plants in the area.
2) Rolling down the siding at the west end of Way Yard the small train will have work to do before returning to Newton.
3) As an added bonus the day before I framed a tied down westbound empty grain train at the west end of Way Yard in Hutchinson.

Thanks for looking!
