CP reported the following

Revenue C$ 1.55 billion down 9.4 percent from third quarter 2015

Net income C$ 347 million

Operating ratio 57.7

Volumes down three percent

Volume declines led by crude oil down eighty percent metals minerals and consumer products down fourteen percent Canadian grain down ten percent automotive down nine percent

These declines were offset by increases in US grain up eleven percent domestic intermodal up eight percent forest products and chemicals up six percent

Coal was flat up one percent over last year
