My visit out West
Author: LandN1971

Gentlemen of the west,
I just spent a wonderful two week tour of your west and I want
to say " A gentleman of the south" was very impressed. I could not
help but think of the men to drew out those lines, and wondering how
much of an undertaking then went thur...
I know a "lot" of trackage has been lost, but the trackage that is left
is VERY IMPRESSING.............

Larry,
Shame you did not come to Southern Oregon, could have shown you some interesting railroad to include "Train Mountain". Lot of history out here that rivals my beloved Ellen N. in Northwest Florida!

Glad you enjoyed your trip out West.  Vast territory with rugged terrain!  One has to be see it for themselves to appreciate it.   BNSF 503 W. passing Lochbuie, Colorado, October 2016.
