Good morning from the Smoky Valley!
Author: santafe199

Breakfast: B&E over easy with hash browns & a biscuit at the ‘Hitch ‘n Post’ was mighty tasty. A little OJ topped off with hot coffee and I’m good. So I walk over to help the Abilene & Smoky Valley excursion train greet the emerging morning of our 3rd annual “Great Smoky Valley Shootout”. Good morning, indeed!

1. A&SV caboose, ex-up 25466 sits at the west end of the excursion train in the loading track as the sun rises in Abilene, KS.
Photo date: October 1, 2016.

Thanks for looking!

Sir Lance,

You've flipped some numbers on the caboose.  I think it is 25466.   (I know, it was dark...)

I thought I might mention that for those of us keeping score at home!

(It is indeed the 25466, and is duly corrected)

Let's see now.... Hmmm... I can say this:
I'm announcing the formation of a new website service: "TPYOS R US!"
with the corporate charter headed with: "How to kep leeting silly tpyos slop through the craks"

OR... I can just repeat what I've said more than once before:
"I keep thinking I should fire my secretary. Until I realize that secretary is ME... :^(

(PS: somewhere along the line I learned that of you can't poke fun at your own self, you are not aloud to poke fun at anyone else... ;^)

Nahhh.... That goofy *itch is still MIA after that little gust of wind we had a while back. I wish she'd at least send Toto back home.
The mutt was better company anyhow......

Explain the light in the center of the photo. A lantern or lighted marker?
