Tonnage on MRVRO,MRVNP,QRVNPP

Wonder if someone has the tonnage for these trains?Maybe for Friday or Saturday busiest part of the week.Would be curious to know Thier lengths also.If someone knows the tonnage for these three trains for tommorow or Saturday you can PM me too!I am curious about tonnage😀

Typically 10,000 or more. Just depends on what cars are released to thentrainnwhen built - and scheuded pick ups and setouts enroute.

He's probably asking about their tonnage over Donner?
They're not that fat there, are they?

The max we run over Donner is 10,500. That's with a 3x3 set up. If extra power is deadheading on the train, trailing tonnage will be reduced to compensate for the TPA (Tons per Powered Axles).

Correct.

We could actually run heavier by adding a DPU or two to the rear or running as a 3x4 as well. At this time, along with a (self imposed) 6500' limit between front and rear dpu's, it wouldn't be a viable plan.

The Sierra DPU's on the NP, NPP and RO are cut off in Sparks.
