According to witnesses, UP 1996 was the second unit when it departed Emeryville (Oakland) yesterday. I won't speculate on what happened to the leader - someone probably knows. Jim B Date: 12/03/16 08:30 Re: UP 1996 at Oakland UP servicing facilities this morning Author: fresno Yes, the list now shows the 1996 second out behind the 5655, so don't know if the power was wyed somewhere en route or the list was wrong on the train out of Ogden, where the train spent 5 hours yesterday.
