Depot Friday . . .
Author: SCKP187

Some with extras displayed on the grounds.
1 & 2   GM&O Bogaloosa LA with an NOGN RR caboose.  The building doesn't appear to be in use at the moment. While the exterior is run down the interior appears to be in pretty good shape (peering through windows) with some pretty fancy carved woodwork in the waiting room.
3     IC Magnolia MS grown in with trees and shrubs not much of a shot is available--houses the historical society
4     Large coin-type plaques embedded in rock beside the Magnolia depot
5 & 6  IC Amite LA
Thanks for looking
Brian Stevens

What RR is NOGN? That looks like a former Lackawanna caboose.

All very nice and all apparently adjacent to operating rail lines. The kind of place you would have wanted to hang out at when you were a kid.
