Western Railroad Discussion > Status of BNSF GP60 #193 in Perris, CA?Date: 12/06/16 08:18 Status of BNSF GP60 #193 in Perris, CA? Author: PasadenaSub Every weekday morning and afternoon for the past month alongside SR 215, I drive past BNSF GP60 193 with a munched cab and front - sitting in a spur off the San Jacinto line in Perris just north of Nuevo Road. TO Member Wigwag posted the initial pictures of it on November 1:
http://www.trainorders.com/discussion/read.php?1,4153068 The unit has since been moved just to the south of the location in the pictures. With the shortage of 4-axle units on the system, I would think they would want to get this one in for repairs. Is it a case of damage so bad per FRA regulations that it can't be brought back to San Bernardino/Kaiser or Commerce for work and a mobile crew will have to do the work on-site when they get a chance?
