Waiting At Utah Jct
Author: mojaveflyer

I received a photo this morning from a friend showing the UP 4135, UPP 430, and UP 3991 sitting and waiting to go to work if snow continues to pile up on the UP Moffat Tunnel Sub west of Denver. The UPP 430 is a modified SP bay window caboose that was gutted and had a number of seats added to transport relief crews to trains west of Denver (and Cheyenne) when the weather closes the roads. This was shot early this morning...

Ah yes the snow taxi awaits. I will have to see if Cheyenne has theirs ready too.
