Post-Christmas trains
Author: CBRL

Here are a few shots from the latest foaming around Eugene, OR.

1. On the 28th. I saw the Medford train, CORP 508, switching a mill near Goshen.
2. Heading south of Creswell.
3. Went down the road while train was switching at Walker and found two units on the siding

More to come.

8. On Jan.1st, a long freight heading for the Willamette River bridge in Springfield
9. Head end of train had 11 units - returning helpers, maybe?

10. Forgot this one from the 29th.  The three sister locomotives, 5257, 5296, and 5259, pull a manifest freight toward Portland with two of the Three Sisters of the High Cascades in the background.

Nice shots, Tom.
Photo 3: is it my old, tired eyes, or is that a nasty dip in the track adjacent to the signal?

There is a dip in the tracks, but it is accentuated by the long telephoto shot that compresses distance, so not as scary a dip as it looks!
