Western Railroad Discussion > Blizzard at Lower CascadeDate: 01/10/17 12:25 Blizzard at Lower Cascade Author: JamesSchlinger UP 600 heads east with a flanger on main 1 at Lower Cascade bridge. I've been in some cold weather on Donner, but at this location there is virtually no shelter (aka trees) to get protection from the wind, so it was easily the nastiest weather I have endured up there. But as storms go, it was nothing compared to what is hitting them as I type this...
