The twice-weekly Santa Margarita Local scoots back toward Watsonville Junction after dropping off a string on cars at San Lucas in the rain yesterday afternoon.

Nice duo pulling the empty.  What kind of cars did they drop at San Lucas?

Covered hoppers. Some sort of fertilizer product, I believe. They had 4 or 5 of them.
