Colorful meet and flying coal dust

While these images are 13 years old, they really don't qualify for "Nostalgia and History". This scene plays out daily on lines radiating out of the powder river basin and with the exception of the three Oakway SD60's, could easily be recreated today.  Image 1 is out on the west end, probably around Halsey. A very colorful meet. Image 2 shows an eastbound at speed, slowly losing a bit of its load to the wind. Images made August, 2003

Location of these photos? Looks like the Nebraaska sand hiils. Halsey Nebraska?

Fast forward to today and 90 of the 100 Oakways are now CN units.
