I'm at Soda Springs now and we just saw a train come east with the lead unit running long hood forward. Crew was dead on the law.

Eastbound just rolled through truckee. Weird to see an AC unit running long hood forward. Also of note, train was exclusively hopper and tank cars. With a few empty TOFC cars as well. I've never seen a train like that before.

Yes, Amtrak site shows both 5&6 are on the move.
Nothing has passed my house yet (MP 156), but it won't be long. It's snowing off & on here.
