Ah yes, winter on the BNSF Gateway Sub.
Author: DaveL

Northeastern California railroading at it's best !
As of 08:40 today;
1. Jordan plow  has a warrent from mp 165 to mp 148.
2. The "mini-dozer" (sweeper with plow) is waiting in Westwood to go to Greenville.
3. Light power has a warrent from mp 195 to mp 165 (excess crews returning to Klamath Falls).
4. South bound train is at Keddie, UP will not take it (reason unknown), 2 north bound trains on the UP waiting.
The SB train is a "real winner", the RR used a dog-catch crew to move it from Quarry Road (mp 200.8) to Keddie (mp 202.8),
so the Stockton crew (called at 22:15 last night) could get on. It appears that they will go dead and then sit on the train for
close to 2 hours until a new crew gets onboard.
