Wide open spaces at Pica
Author: RustyRayls

Three shots from the wide open spaces of Pica. This was a water stop and a base for Helpers back in the days of steam.

Arizona, about 20 miles west of Seligman.

17.5 miles west of Seligman there is a dirt road that heads south from Old Route 66, about a mile to Pica.  You can see the old watertanks from Old 66.

Kind of an oddly blocked train with the three trailers on the head end.  Maybe a bad order pick up somewhere along the line.

Possibly!

Lighter intermodal trains = relaxed blocking.
