Just think... How may parts of our military secrets were transported on those rails at one time. Remember "Ham"? He was named after "Holloman Areo Medical". We used to get all kinds of engines and complete trains from them in the late 60s. (Army-Air Force- Navy- Etc.)

USAF has hardly used rail in the last 30 years, maybe a handful of bases and labs might still be connected.

Holloman AFB is quite a ways to the south and east near Alamogordo, NM.
