Nice work. It looks like the snow has settled from what was reported earlier. Maybe a little rain affected the depth.

Beginner's luck Dave, but if you post every day, I think you'll get the hang of it.

Thanks all, for the replies.

Yes, the snow level has compacted down since the big 50 inch snowfall over a week ago. Warm days and some rain. As for the 441's number board, I think the painted numbers chipped off the engineer's side board and starting to do so on the other one.

Before we left Friday morning, the work train crew had parked their plow set nose-to-nose in the yard and went off doing other honey-do chores the rest of the day. A second pair of dozer/ spreader machines was parked on the west leg of the wye in an accessible spot.

Only one set of helpers seen working during the time we were there and that was Friday morning. All other days the trains were powered up sufficient headend units and DPs.

Very NICE series Dave! Lots of snow on the ground in your area. We've lost much of our grounded snow in Ritzville after two months of white.

Yes, something has sure gone wrong with the numberboards on the F45, but the Big Sky Blue paint sure is holding up well.
