Western Railroad Discussion > Scarce Activity Today . . .Date: 02/21/17 20:24 Scarce Activity Today . . . Author: SCKP187 I can't even claim a "few" from today's efforts. I was on the UP Wagoner Sub this afternoon near Coffeyville KS where trains usually get stacked up waiting to get into the yard for inspection and crew change.
No waiting today though as there was only one train in several hours, however, this area is fortunate in that there is still 5 coal-burning power plants served so it helps to provide another variety of unit train when things are busy. 1. Today's train had a couple nice looking non-flag units through Lenapah OK as they move mts back to the mines 2. DPU UP 7974 shoveing lightly downgrade out of Lenapah towards Coffeyville Photos February 21 2017 Thanks for looking Brian Stevens Date: 02/21/17 20:28 Re: Scarce Activity Today . . .
