The list shows a ZG2BR and ZG2PD. I've worked hundreds of ZG2BR's at Brooklyn Yard, Oregon. Last I knew the ramps at Albina Yard (PD) are not being used anymore. Is there currently a ZG2PD now? Or is it just the old symbol still on the books Date: 02/23/17 20:12 Re: need u.p. K and I train overland route symbols Author: florida581 Coalca Wrote:

Or is it just the old symbol still on the > books Here are my thoughts: From what I understand, Brooklyn is indeed the only active UP intermodal ramp in Portland. If I were to guess, ZG2PD "terminates" at Albina but the train probably carries blocks for multiple destinations such as Tacoma, Seattle, and possibly some Brooklyn overflow or late connections. I bet other trains pick up their respective blocks from ZG2PD at Albina en route to their destinations. My other thought is that ZG2PD drops off his entire train at Brooklyn and runs engine lite to Albina where it "terminates". Since I'm not familiar with the makeup of this train, does it also haul a block autoracks along with the intermodal? Same scenario, maybe the train drops all the intermodal off at Brooklyn and takes autoracks to Albina where the train terminates. Andrew Date: 02/24/17 00:10 Re: need u.p.
