OMATAC up Front Range with two KCS Belles

Late this afternoon, an Omaha, NE to Tacoma, WA doublestack plied the northern BNSF Front Range Subdivision, led by two KCS Southern Belles. Here the colorful train winds away from the old sugar beet dump siding and stockyard location with the ancient grain elevator called Marion, north of Loveland, CO. On the right in the background are the old Great Western Sugar storage silos. The dry tinderbox Front Range badly needs some snowfall... === === = === JLH
