Define "monster" in feet please.

I don't have train length info but if BNSF had DPU'S in middle of train and on the rear it usually means a monster train of 10000 to 15000 ft

It seems to me they are running more of these in the last few weeks

I took some photos of a "monster" with two units on the point two more units in the middle and two more on the rear at Frost, CA summer of 2015. So Burlington Northern Santa Fe has been running them off and on for several years. This monster exceeded 200 cars/platforms.

They run simialar trains thru Klamath Falls talked to a fellow out of Pasco he says they will put two trains together to save crews or break them later and let another crew in a diffrent area take over one part.
