Cowl units still alive on CN!
Author: slacks

Despite many rumors cowl units still power CN trains. This example from last month has CN 338 topping Raymond hill just east of Waterloo Ia with another 150+ car tonnage monster. Nice consist of BCOL and CN Draper tapers along with a wide-cab SD-402. The SD-40 was shut down and the 2 GE,s had to wrestle this train to Chicago on this hill and dale line.

The EMD cowls are finished on CN.

The GEs are still alive and well.
