Decided not to include Albany & Eastern 1750, since it's already been shown. Please bear in mind that these digital photos were taken "around" my 35mm photography.
Thursday 3/16-- Yreka Western 19 at Montague, being tied down for its trip to Ohio. CORP's Hornbrook Turn returning to Weed, passing Mt. Shasta near Gazelle. Coos Bay Rail Link's train tied down at Mapleton, due to slides ahead. Toledo Railroad Museum's collection. (Unfortunately, PNWR's Toledo Hauler was nowhere to be found.) PNWR SD7R #1501 switching in the Albany yard. CORP GP38-2 #2036 in the yard at Winchester (north of Roseburg). Modoc Railroad Academy #2309 at White City (industrial park outside Medford). Rogue Valley Terminal power was parked inside their enginehouse. Anybody know the 2309's heritage? It has the squared housing on the end of the long hood suggesting a B&M or C&NW commuter-service Geep. Roof-mounted air tanks make me think ex-C&NW. Edited 1 time(s). Not quite. The paper air filter box ahead of the dynamic brake housing tells me this engine has been deturboed, hence it's GP38-3 designation. I was referring to the unchanged radiator fans. |
