Western Railroad Discussion > Blue Hour at AndoverDate: 03/22/17 15:57 Blue Hour at Andover Author: JamesSchlinger The era of the searchlight signal on Donner Pass is coming to a close as UP 8576 leads a manifest through Andover in the last light of day. Today, although this signal bridge still stands, these signals have been out of service for several years - Norden is now the only place on the Hill where searchlight signals still govern movements.

Date: 03/22/17 16:15 Re: Blue Hour at Andover Author: JamesSchlinger No. This shot is from several years ago. Today, the signals, if they are even still there at all, are cocked sideways and aren't connected to anything.
